Greggs Discounts, App Rewards & Student Offers (2026)

Every legitimate way to pay less at Greggs: the free Rewards app, the Student Beans discount, partner perks, and the separate Greggs Outlet clearance shops — with links to our full guide on each.

Quick Direct Answer & Key Guidance

Quick answer: the free Rewards app stamp card is the main ongoing discount, alongside Student Beans, occasional partner perks, and the separate clearance-priced Outlet shops.

The Greggs Rewards app

The free Greggs app runs a stamp-based scheme: collect nine stamps within a product category — Greggs names bakes, pizza, sandwiches and iced drinks as stamp categories — and the tenth item in that category is free. New app users also get a free regular hot or iced drink on their first scan, and the app adds a free sweet treat to your wallet every year on your birthday. See our Rewards App Guide for the full walkthrough.

Student discount

Students verified through Student Beans (via ID or a valid student card) don't get a straight percentage off. Instead, buying a sandwich lunch deal — a selected sandwich plus a cold or regular hot drink — adds a free extra: a sausage roll, vegan sausage roll, cheese & onion bake, or a sweet treat at selected stores. It doesn't apply at MOTO service-station shops, or on Just Eat or Click + Collect orders. See our Student Discount guide for the full eligibility check.

Free coffee & partner perks

There are several legitimate routes to free or discounted Greggs coffee beyond the app stamp card and the new-user first-scan drink above — see our dedicated guide for the full, current list.

Greggs Outlet clearance shops

Outlet shops sell the previous day's unsold fresh food at a markdown rather than it going to waste. Greggs has described growing this network past 30 Outlet shops, concentrated in areas of higher social deprivation, with a share of outlet profits funding the Greggs Foundation's community grant programme. See our Outlet Shops guide for how to find one near you.

Greggs promo codes, discount codes and vouchers

We have not found a public Greggs promo code, rewards promo code or app promo code that we can verify, so we do not list any. The offers we can verify are the ones in the Greggs app, the student deals and the partner offers covered in our guides. Be careful with discount code and voucher sites: a code that cannot be checked against Greggs itself is not worth the time. For free-drink and student offers, read the guides on this site and confirm the current rules in the Greggs app.
